Community Center Sponsor
Details Anchor Ridge often serves children on a temporary basis to help bridge the gap for them in their situation through one of our Anchor Ridge Community Centers. Because we know these kids are in transition, we do not assign them an individual sponsor. Many of these children are living in terrible circumstances and could be moved into foster care or are in the middle of custody battles or other situations that would move them into a better situation. These children are supported and sponsored by our Community Center Sponsors. They receive desperately needed food, hygiene items, clothing, books, other supplies, and most importantly, they have a place to learn about Jesus. The children in these situations need the Love and Encouragement of Christ the most! In addition to helping children, our community centers serve entire communities of families with food, hygiene supplies and many other basic needs. Anchor Ridge centers offer a store-like area for families to “shop” for clothing items, beds, sofas, tables and other furniture and household needs at no cost. These are also facilities where building supplies are stored and distributed to families that are living in impoverished housing conditions, enabling them to fix-up their home.
